Someone who loved me asked me what I wanted for dinner.
I said: "Whatever you want is fine."
They said: "No really. What do YOU want?"
I genuinely did not know.
We are talking about dinner. And I did not know.
That is when I realized the problem was bigger than dinner.
Because if I could not name what I wanted for dinner, what else had I been leaving unnamed? What needs had I been quietly folding away, waiting for someone to notice them instead of just saying them out loud?
Today we stop waiting to be asked. Today we practice saying it.
I know what I need.

START HERE: TODAY’S 10-SECOND MIRACLE

Read this slowly and let your body finish it before your mind does.
"The thing I most need today is..."
Whatever came first. Not the edited version. The first one.
That one.
WAIT, WHAT? SCIENCE SAYS
Psychologists Edward Deci and Richard Ryan spent decades developing Self-Determination Theory, one of the most robust frameworks in human psychology. Their research identified three core needs every human carries: autonomy, competence, and relatedness.
When these needs go unacknowledged, not just unmet but unacknowledged, people experience declining motivation, reduced wellbeing, and a slowly eroding sense of self.
But here is the part that matters most: their research found that simply naming a need, even before it is met, even just to yourself, already begins to restore psychological wellbeing.
You do not have to have it met today. You just have to stop pretending it does not exist.
The takeaway: naming your needs is one of the most direct acts of self-restoration available to you. And it begins with admitting, quietly and without apology, what you actually need.

PAUSE. BREATHE. WRITE.
3 to 8 minutes
Quick and Dirty, 3 minutes: Complete this sentence without overthinking it: "What I actually need right now, and have been afraid to say, is..."
Go Deeper, 5 to 8 minutes: Where did you learn that your needs were too much, inconvenient, or unlikely to be met? Who taught you to fold them away before anyone could see them? And what would change, in your closest relationships, if you named one real need today with no apology attached?
MINDFUL MOVEMENT
THE HEART OPENER
Stand or sit tall.
Interlace your fingers behind your back and gently draw your shoulder blades together.
Open your chest toward the sky and breathe in slowly.
Hold for five breaths. Long ones.
Notice what it feels like to be physically open rather than contracted and protected. Most of us spend our days slightly curled inward, shoulders forward, chest closed, as if we are perpetually bracing for something.
This is what the opposite feels like.
While you hold it, ask yourself quietly: what am I ready to stop guarding?
Let the answer come from the open chest, not the thinking mind.
Do this once in the morning and once before a conversation where you need to say something true. Let your body lead the way.
DAILY COSMIC WEATHER REPORT

Above and within, a gentle rhythm
Tomorrow the Sun meets Uranus in an exact conjunction in Gemini, the most electrically charged aspect of the entire month. We are already feeling that electricity building today. Uranus is the planet of sudden liberation. The Sun illuminates whatever it touches. Together they crack things open and bring the kind of clarity that bypasses logic entirely and simply arrives.
The Moon is in Leo today and forms a beautiful trine to Neptune, one of the most intuitive and imaginative aspects of the week. This is dreamy, receptive energy. The kind that makes it easier to hear what has been underneath all along. Perfect for a day about finally naming what you need out loud.
Later the Moon forms a trine to Saturn before going void of course, grounding and steady. Saturn says: be real with yourself. Watch how solid that feels.
Mars in Taurus holds steady underneath all of this. Committed. Building something that lasts.
What this means for today: your intuition is unusually clear right now. The sky is asking you to use it.
CRYSTAL OF THE DAY

Blue Kyanite is the stone of clarity and speaking your truth.
Unlike most crystals, Kyanite never needs cleansing. It does not hold negative energy. It simply continues to transmit its frequency, clear and steady, no matter what it encounters. There is something deeply right about that for today. Your truth does not need to be cleansed or edited or made more palatable before you speak it. It is already clean. It is already enough.
Blue Kyanite is associated with the throat chakra, the center of communication, self-expression, and the courage to say what you actually mean. It is the stone for the moment between knowing something and finally saying it out loud.
Try this: hold Blue Kyanite at your throat and take three slow breaths. On the third exhale, say out loud, even in a whisper: "I know what I need."
Reach for it when:
you are rehearsing a conversation again and again but not having it
you know what you need to say but keep swallowing it
you are about to fold on something true to keep the peace
you are ready to stop waiting for permission to speak.
SACRED CIRCLE REFLECTION
What is the need you find hardest to say out loud?
TODAY’S AFFIRMATION
Let it land, let it go, trust it’ll return when it matters.

DAILY GRATITUDE MOMENT
Today, be grateful for every need you ever named.
Even the ones that were not met. Even the ones that came out wrong. Even the ones that took years to find the words for.
Every time you said "I need" was an act of self-trust. A moment of choosing yourself. A deposit into the account you have been slowly rebuilding all week.
You have been braver than you give yourself credit for.
🌙 Day 4 Challenge — THE ASK
Ask for one small thing today that you would normally just handle alone.
Help carrying something. A few minutes of quiet. Someone to listen without trying to fix it. A task you would normally take on yourself without a word.
Let someone give you something today.
Notice how it feels to ask. Notice if you over-explain or apologize before the words are even out. Notice if it feels uncomfortable or surprisingly okay or somewhere in between.
Then hit reply and tell us what happened. What did you ask for? How did it feel? We read every single one.
CLOSING BLESSING
"Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we will ever do."
— Brené Brown
May you stop waiting to be asked.
May you find the words for what you need before the need turns into something harder to name.
May you say it simply, without a novel of explanation, without shrinking it first, without the apology that has become so automatic you barely notice it anymore.
And may you discover that the people meant to love the real you can handle the real you, needs and all. Every last one of them.
You know what you need. You always did.
MEME OF THE DAY

P.S. We made this because most spiritual content made us feel like there was something wrong with us for being tired, messy, or not “high-vibe” enough. If this made you feel a little more human today, that's all we wanted.
