The block was never out there.

It was in the way I deflected compliments.

The way I minimized my own work.

The way I said I am fine when someone offered to help.

The way I made myself smaller so abundance would not notice me.

Today we look at that.

🌙 Day 3 Challenge — THE YES

🎁 THIS WEEK'S FREE GIFT

The block is not out there.

It is in here.

In the way you deflect. In the way you earn before you rest. In the way you wait for the catch when something good arrives.

The Receiving Audit.

Five blocks to abundance and how to gently release each one.

Read it slowly. Be honest with yourself about which ones are yours.

Then try just one release practice today.

That is enough to begin interrupting the pattern.

START HERE: TODAY’S 10-SECOND MIRACLE

Hold both hands out in front of you, palms facing up.

Open them completely.

Take one slow breath.

Notice whether any part of you wants to close them.

That impulse is the block.

And today we look at where it comes from.

PAUSE. BREATHE. WRITE.

Quick and Dirty, 3 minutes: Complete this sentence: "When something good is offered to me I tend to..." Let the honest answer come before the edited one.

Go Deeper, 5 to 8 minutes: Where do you deflect? Where do you diminish? Where do you say I am fine when you are not, or I do not need anything when you do, or that is too much, you should not have when someone offers something generous?

And underneath all of that: what is the belief? That you have already had your share? That wanting more is greedy? That receiving makes you vulnerable to losing? That if you let good things fully land you will only grieve them more when they are gone?

The block is a belief. And beliefs can change.

TINY RITUAL: THE OPEN HANDS PRACTICE

This practice comes from multiple spiritual and somatic traditions across the world. The open palm gesture appears in Buddhist mudras as a symbol of receiving. In many Christian traditions it is the posture of grace. In somatic therapy it is used to signal to the nervous system that it is safe to receive rather than defend.

What you do: Find a quiet moment today. Sit comfortably.

Hold both hands out in front of you, palms facing up and completely open.

Take three slow breaths.

With each exhale, consciously relax any tension in your hands, your arms, your chest.

Then say out loud: I am open to receiving. I am worthy of what is offered. I allow good things to land.

Stay in this position for two full minutes.

The effect: Notice what arises. Resistance. Emotion. The impulse to close your hands or cross your arms. That impulse is information. It is the block making itself visible.

Simply notice it. Then choose to keep your hands open anyway.

That is the whole practice. Keeping the hands open when every old pattern wants them closed.

DAILY COSMIC WEATHER REPORT

Cosmic currents, flowing through you.

The Sun enters Leo today, beginning Leo season and one of the most vibrant and confident periods of the astrological year. Leo is ruled by the Sun and carries the energy of radiance, generous self-expression, and the full embodiment of who you are. For a week about abundance, Leo season arriving today is quietly perfect. Leo does not deflect. Leo does not diminish. Leo receives the light and offers it back amplified.

Tomorrow Mercury stations direct, ending its retrograde in Cancer. The inward, reflective period is coming to a close. What has been felt and understood is preparing to move outward. For a day about identifying the blocks to receiving, the timing is extraordinary. Today you see the block clearly. Tomorrow the energy begins to flow forward again.

The Moon is in Scorpio today, waxing and building intensity. A Scorpio Moon goes deep and does not settle for surface truths. It asks: what is really underneath this? What has been hidden that needs to be seen? For a day about identifying the unconscious blocks to receiving, a Scorpio Moon is the perfect companion. It will help you see clearly what has been operating beneath the surface.

What this means for today: the Sun is entering Leo and asking you to receive its light fully. No deflecting. No diminishing. Just open hands and a heart willing to let good things land.

CRYSTAL OF THE DAY

Smithsonite is the stone of gentle healing, the heart opening to receive, and self-worth restored.

Its soft blue-green or lavender carries the energy of the gentlest possible healing. Of the heart that has been defended for a long time slowly, carefully, opening again. Smithsonite is associated with the restoration of self-worth, with the healing of the wounds that made receiving feel dangerous, and with the gradual return of trust that good things are safe to let in.

Smithsonite does not force the opening. It makes it feel safe. It creates the conditions where the hands can finally unclench and the heart can finally receive.

For a day about identifying and gently releasing the blocks to receiving, Smithsonite is the perfect companion.

Try this: hold Smithsonite over your heart and ask: what would it feel like to let good things fully land? What would it mean to stop deflecting and start receiving?

Reach for it when:

  • you have been defending against abundance without knowing it

  • you need the gentlest possible healing of the wound underneath the block

  • you want to feel safe enough to open your hands and receive what is offered

  • you simply need a reminder that you are worthy of good things and that receiving them does not make you vulnerable or greedy.

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION

Take what you need. Leave the rest.

SACRED CIRCLE REFLECTION

🌙 Day 3 Challenge — THE YES

Today, say yes to one thing you would normally deflect.

A compliment: say thank you and nothing else. No qualifier. No explanation.

An offer of help: say yes please. Let someone do something for you.

A moment of rest: take it without earning it first.

Something good: let it land without immediately looking for what might go wrong.

Just one yes. Fully meant.

Notice how that feels in your body.

Tomorrow we look at money as energy. The spiritual dimension of your financial life. How the frequency you carry about money shapes what you attract and what slides away. Come back for it.

DAILY GRATITUDE MOMENT

Today, be grateful for one thing you received recently that you almost deflected.

A kindness. A compliment. An opportunity. An offer of help.

Something that came toward you and that you, perhaps barely, let land.

Be grateful for the moment you kept your hands open.

Even if it was only for a second.

That second is the practice.

CLOSING BLESSING

"Gracious acceptance is an art, an art which most never bother to cultivate." — Alexander McCall Smith

May you open your hands today.

May you receive what is offered without immediately finding a reason to give it back.

May you discover that receiving is not the same as greed. That accepting help is not the same as weakness. That letting good things land is not the same as setting yourself up for loss.

May you find that the world has been trying to give you more than you have been willing to take.

And may you begin, today, to take it.

With open hands. With a willing heart.

MEME OF THE DAY

P.S. We made this because most spiritual content made us feel like there was something wrong with us for being tired, messy, or not “high-vibe” enough. If this made you feel a little more human today, that's all we wanted.

💌 Pass it on

Know someone who keeps deflecting good things? Send this their way, gently.
